Find the Right STEM Program

Find the Right STEM Program

Use your child’s age, interests and current experience to choose a practical starting point. Tokyo STEM School pathways are designed to grow with learners rather than rush them into tools before they are ready.

1. Choose an age pathway

  • Ages 5–7: playful sequencing, creative making and early problem solving.
  • Ages 8–11: Scratch, beginner robotics, digital creativity and guided projects.
  • Ages 12–14: Python, electronics, AI literacy and increasingly independent builds.
  • Ages 15–18: advanced coding, portfolio projects, real-world briefs and future skills.

2. Choose an interest

Coding · Robotics and engineering · Artificial intelligence · Creative technology · Camps and workshops

3. Check readiness

Beginners are welcome. The best starting point depends on reading confidence, attention span, keyboard familiarity and whether a learner enjoys guided or open-ended projects. Prior coding experience is not always required.
